This unit of study will introduce students to the theory and practice of occupational therapy through on campus learning activities and a fieldwork placement. Students will learn about the concepts and philosophies that underpin occupational therapy professional practice (including models of practice based on sociological, psychological and biological theories), specifically the nature of human occupations and the analysis of occupations.
