The aim of this unit is to provide students with an advanced understanding of strength and conditioning, preparing students to capably assess, program and monitor athletes over a full playing season. This unit will cover the physiological basis of advanced assessment and programming techniques, including the instruction of advanced lifts, use of both novel and advanced training methods and the implementation of technology in program delivery and athlete monitoring.
