This unit of study prepares pre-service teachers for conducting ethical research in consultation with Aboriginal people and communities as a significant component of the Stage 6 Aboriginal Studies course in NSW secondary schools. Pre-service teachers will complete a major project along the same lines as the HSC students they will teach, reflect on and share their experiences with each other and current teachers and students in Aboriginal Studies classes.
